Hello Snotgoblins and Friends

The winter here is almost over so all those sniffles and snots are probably disappearing but the Snotgoblins aren’t.  Luckily they will never disappear as long as you believe in them.

My big news is that I have moved.  I’m living in Brisbane, the capital city of sunny Queensland in Australia.  It is really lovely here -  kind of like Dunedin where Snot first came to visit me - but bigger and sunnier.

Lots of Snots’ friends are living here too which is loads of fun.  And of course I still go and visit Snot, and Fluff too, in Dunedin and they come to visit me too.  They are pretty good at hopping on and off planes.  Snotgoblins are very canny you know and they can do lots of things.

Snot and Fluff have been telling me stories about their adventures too and there is a book three all written but it won’t be coming out until next year now.  There’s kind of a secret around it but I can’t tell you more because the Secret Spy Snotgoblins are sneaking around listening.

Happy Christmas and New Year and all of that!

Were there Snotgoblins under your tree at Christmas! Have you met Fergus Pus-Ears yet? He is very funny (and smelly!) I think I must have been very good last year because not only did I get to spend Christmas with my family but I got to travel to Invercargill to meet lots of Snotgoblin fans.

I'll be getting to meet lots more of you this year too! How cool! I love the start of the year. Not only do I get to stay up late and watch the year change on New Years Eve but a few days later it's my birthday so I get more cake and pressies. What more can a person ask for!

There are lots of Snotgoblin things planned this year too. I've just finished the third book and it is about to be sent to the magical mystical Heath McKenzie who does all of the cool drawings - and I'm about to start work on book four.

I can't tell you what it's about but there are some pretty cool Snotgoblins dong some pretty funny things. It will be a while before the books appear in the shops but maybe in the meantime you can send me in some drawings of your own, or some Snotgoblin stories and ideas - I hear there are some pretty good ones out there! Or maybe have a Snotgoblin party (we've added some great new recipes for you) and send us the photos! Or what about a photo of the Snotgoblin at your house?

Oops gotta go - I think I just saw my pet rabbit Oscar run into Snotgoblin territory!
